HUSTLE WITH HEART

My assistant will be reaching out shortly via the phone number you’ve provided to send over the guide.

Before You Dive In

You didn’t request this guide by accident.
Chances are, one of these sounds like you right now:

Your career is taking more than it's giving back, especially in time with the people who matter most.

You're tired of working harder every year while the raise barely moves, and you're quietly falling behind people who used to be right where you are.

You're starting to recognise the same financial tension you grew up around, just in your own home now.

You want to be the person your family runs to, but by the time you're home, the best hours of the day are already gone.

Hustle With Heart was written to meet you at exactly that question. Here's a taste of what's inside:

The six things I look for in the people I take on, and why not one of them is talent, charisma, or a finance background. See how many sound like you.

Why the first 90 days at Team GEM aren't designed to make you feel successful, and what they're actually designed to reveal about you instead.

Twenty years ago, a consultant's biggest advantage was their personal network. Why that stopped being true, and what's replaced it.

If your business runs on relatives and friends saying yes out of sympathy, you're building on borrowed time. Here's what the consultants on this team build instead.

Read it when my assistant sends it over.

The stories of how this actually plays out for people who joined me? Those, I'd rather tell you myself, right now.

As Someone Who's Built A Career And A Team Around Exactly This Question

I've been recognised four times with President's Club, my company's top honour for elite performance and leadership, one only a small fraction of agency leaders ever qualify for.

More than 35% of my consultants rank among the industry's top producers globally, well above the market average.

My team also has one of the lowest attrition rates in the industry, which means the people who join tend to stay and build, not burn out and leave.

But none of that is what I'm proudest of.

I take utmost pride in the fact that people on my team have built careers that didn't cost them their family.

Why I Named Guide “Hustle With Heart”

My grandmother raised three children alone after my grandfather passed away young. I grew up watching what it looks like to hold a family together with very little, so I never had to be told that family comes first.

At 16, I made a bad financial decision.

Instead of telling my parents and adding to what they were already carrying, I quietly worked it off at Burger King, after school, through the weekends, home past midnight most nights.

Then I kept working, whatever it took to stay ahead:

  • Factory shifts
  • Modelling gigs
  • Selling laptops at IT fairs

That same instinct - hustle first so the people you love carry less - followed me into this industry.

In my fourth year, I gave myself an ultimatum: hit six figures or leave.

I hit it. I stayed. And I built the life I actually wanted for my family.

Once I'd built that for myself, I started building it for the people who joined me.

Spencer, a new father, out-earned his old marketing salary within six months without missing his daughter's evenings.

Julian left a job that undervalued him and now brings home more than that previous role ever paid and now even has time for lunch and dinner with his father every day.

You Liang, an NUS graduate, built the kind of financial security that let his own stressed-out father finally stop smoking three packs a day.

None of that happened because they were exceptional.

It happened because the philosophy works, and it's exactly why I believe it can work for you too.

That's the whole idea behind Hustle With Heart. Not hustle instead of heart. Hustle in service of it, for me, and for everyone who's built something real on this team since.

If any of that sounds like where you are, let's talk about it.

Your Career Clarity Conversation

This isn't an interview. It isn't a pitch to join Team GEM.

I want to understand where you are, what you're trying to build, and what might be blocking you.

Then we decide honestly, together, whether this path even makes sense for you.

No script. No pressure. If it turns out this isn't the right fit, you still leave with more clarity than you came in with.

If you're ready to explore how becoming a financial consultant can meet your career and personal goals, let’s connect.
